Belonging
To celebrate their community, Westbourne Grammar School invited families to contribute stories and recipes to make this cookbook. Capturing the histories of the school, individuals and the local community, this collaboration was a beautiful way to bring people together.
Services: Writing, editing, photography, art direction, design, typesetting, content management, image retouching, proof reading and production.
Our challenge was to bring together 35 stories and 91 recipes, retaining their individuality while providing cohesion. The resulting book looks good enough to eat!
We worked with Hyphen to produce a high quality publication that recognises and expresses the amazing collection of recipes. It also respected the families who so generously participated and shared insights into their personal stories. Belonging is a publication that makes everyone at Westbourne very proud.’
