Baker’s Delight’s history is the story of the little bakery that could. What began as a small bakery on Glenferrie Road in Melbourne’s inner-east suburb of Hawthorn in 1980, has grown into over 700 bakeries around the world. But despite this scale, each franchise manages to keep that intimate, homely feel in each branch. To celebrate its forty-year anniversary in 2020, we worked with the company to capture that welcoming feel and pay tribute to all the franchisees who have made the brand what it is today. We particularly loved asking staff member about their favourite Baker’s Delight product (a landslide win for Cape Seed Loaf).
